Zanna Petrova, 58, and Eduards Urbanovics, 54, both of Butterstream, Clane, were each prosecuted at Naas District Court over an alleged loan of €5,000 from Life Credit Union on Main Street, Naas, using a false bank statement and payslip. The alleged offences are said to have occurred on 2 February 2023 and 28 March 2023. The judge accepted jurisdiction and adjourned the matter, requesting a translator be present when the case goes ahead. The court was told all of the money had been repaid.
