Eddie Ryan Jnr, a 39-year-old man from Moyross, Limerick, was charged with possessing €21,320 in cash, knowing it to be the proceeds of crime. Gardaí seized the cash at his home on 1 July 2020, and he was charged in September 2021 before being remanded on bail. He pleaded guilty at Limerick Circuit Court and was sentenced on 8 February 2022 to one year in prison. He is the son of Eddie Ryan senior, who was shot dead at the Moose Bar in Limerick in November 2000.
