    Gardaí found around €1,400 worth of cocaine and around €840 worth of cannabis at 5 Faindara, Station Road, Kildare town, on 20 December 2022, under a search warrant. Eddie Muldoon, a 45-year-old man, was charged with possession of the suspected drugs. The case was heard at Naas District Court on 5 January 2023, where Judge Desmond Zaidan remanded him on continuing bail. The matter is due to return to court on 25 May 2023 for a certificate of analysis and directions from the DPP.
