  A fatal collision involving a lorry and two cars happened on the N11 in Co Wexford shortly before 5pm on 27 November 2024. Eddie Broaders, a man in his 50s and a healthcare worker, was pronounced dead at the scene, and two other people were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Gardaí arrested a man in his 20s, who was detained at a Wexford garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 and was released without charge by 28 November. A file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions, and funeral arrangements for Mr Broaders have been announced.
