  Dylan Sage, 27, of Kildare, was accused of having cocaine worth €7,500 in his underwear at Cosby Hall, Stradbally, on 2 September 2022. He first appeared at Portlaoise District Court in October 2022, where the case was adjourned to 19 January 2023 by consent. At a committal hearing in March 2023, the DPP directed that he be sent forward to Portlaoise Circuit Court. Judge Andrew Cody assigned legal aid for a solicitor and one junior counsel, and the case was set for the next sittings beginning 13 June.
