Dylan Griffin, 34, of Woodville, Loughrea, was charged with two counts of making threats to kill or cause serious harm to a man and a woman, and with criminal damage by arson at a home in Garraí Gabhainn, Moycullen, all on 10 April 2022. He appeared before Galway District Court in November 2022, where a book of evidence was served on him. Judge Mary Fahy sent the case forward to the December Circuit Court sitting and cautioned Griffin that any alibi must be disclosed to the state in advance.
