  On October 5 last, shortly after 10am, Dylan Greene (30), of Springlawn, Longford, behaved aggressively at Longford Garda Station. Gardaí said he entered the public office in a confrontational manner and screamed, shouted and stomped around, while his solicitor said he lost his temper during garda inquiries and was very apologetic. Greene was arrested and later charged, and pleaded guilty to a public order offence at Longford District Court. The judge requested a probation report and adjourned the case until May 6, and a prior suspended sentence can now be reactivated.

The jury was discharged and Judge Connolly adjourned the case to 9 May 2023 for sentencing.
