Dunja Habbal, a 26-year-old German woman, was arrested at the Trump Doonbeg resort in County Clare on Friday 11 September 2026 and charged with trespass at Doonbeg Golf Club and with possessing black-handled scissors under the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act, 1990. She was first brought before a special sitting of Ennis District Court on the Saturday evening and remanded in custody to Limerick's Women's Prison. On 17 September, Judge Adrian Harris struck out the weapons charge, found the trespass facts proven without recording a conviction, and released her on a probation bond conditioned on staying away from Doonbeg, Co Clare.
