  Dorothy Umukoro, 39, with an address at the Montague Hotel in Cappakeel, Emo, Laois, crashed into two parked cars on 8 April 2023 while test-driving a car she had bought. Gardaí were called to the hotel, viewed CCTV, identified her and arrested her, and she admitted the offence. She was charged with hit and run and admitted dangerous driving, hit and run and having no insurance or licence. A court report published on 1 May 2023 says the judge fined her a total of €700 and disqualified her from driving for two years.
