  Denise O'Brien, a 42-year-old woman from Tralee, Co Kerry, appeared at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 22 June 2026 after a bench warrant was issued against her the previous week. She is accused of 98 counts of fraud under the Criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud Offences) Act 2001, including deception, forgery, and using a false instrument, against a large number of complainants.
