Denis Hannifin, 42, a man from Curry, Athlone Road, Longford, was charged on 6 July 2020 with possession of a stolen Cosmos Lunar caravan that he collected from a ferry in the UK a week after it was stolen. CAB detectives arrested and questioned him in October 2021 in connection with the charge. He pleaded guilty at Longford District Court on 19 July 2022, where Judge Bernadette Owens sentenced him to two months in prison to run concurrently with his existing 52-month sentence for causing serious injury to his second cousin Denis McGinley in December 2018.
