  On 5 October 2020, gardaí found a €1 million cache of drugs, three pistols, ammunition, silencers, and €490,000 in cash at two lock-up garages in Rathfeigh, Tara, Co Meath, where 42-year-old man Deividas Kaciukas was living in a caravan. Kaciukas, a former taxi driver who had lost his job due to the pandemic, was being paid to collect and deliver drugs in a van with a remote-controlled false bottom, receiving instructions via an encrypted phone app. He pleaded guilty at Trim Circuit Court to possession of drugs for sale or supply and possession of arms and ammunition. On 23 February 2022, Judge Martina Baxter sentenced him to nine years with the final 18 months suspended on the drugs charge and a concurrent seven years on the arms charge, both backdated to 10 October 2020.
