    Two men, Declan J Crowe of Ballyheigue, County Kerry, and Alan O'Sullivan of Ardfert, Tralee, County Kerry, threatened to kill or cause serious harm to off-duty gardaí at Gortnagowna, Roscrea, on 11 August 2019. Both pleaded guilty at an earlier court. At Nenagh District Court, Judge Elizabeth MacGrath ordered each to pay €10,000 to Little Blue Heroes, a charity nominated by the gardaí involved. The charity, set up by An Garda Síochána, helps families with children undergoing long-term medical treatment.
