    A Toyota Proace valued at €13,000 was allegedly stolen from the property of Declan Breslin at Garvenagh, Ballintra, on 2 June 2023. Vincent Doherty, 64, of The Rock, Churchill, Letterkenny, was charged with the theft under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud Offences) Act 2001. The matter was listed three times at Donegal District Court for DPP directions, but none were available. On 2 October 2024, the judge struck the matter out, noting the delay seemed unduly long.
