    Dean Johnson, a 21-year-old man, was shot dead by two gunmen at Harelawn Green in Clondalkin, West Dublin, shortly after midnight on 24 August 2013, a short distance from his home. Ten people were arrested in the investigation, and a Detective Inspector later told the inquest that the case remains open. At an inquest in April 2023 at Dublin District Coroner's Court, the jury returned a verdict of unlawful killing by persons unknown, and the killing may have been a case of mistaken identity. The most recent development is that verdict, with the case still open.
