On 14 July 2021, Dean Guinan, 35, and his father Noel Guinan were involved in threatening and abusive behaviour at Doolan's Filling Station, Kilcormac, Offaly, with Cathal Kiely and Adam Dalzell as victims. The case was heard at Tullamore District Court, where Dean Guinan, who had 10 previous convictions, was sentenced to three months in prison suspended for three years and fined €300, while Noel Guinan, with no previous convictions, was fined €300. Dean Guinan alleged he was threatened with a knife by Harley Dalzell prior to the incident, but Judge Andrew Cody said he did not believe that account.

On 16 May 2021, Dean Guinan, a 35-year-old man from Kilcormac, Offaly, is alleged to have threatened another man that his home would be damaged, and is also accused of threatening and abusive behaviour. Guinan was charged with both offences. At Tullamore district court, Judge Staines adjourned the case to 8 December 2021 after the court heard there had been an arson attack on Guinan's mother's home and she needed to be present. Tullamore courthouse was evacuated the previous Monday morning after an alarm sounded.
