  On 11 June 2022 at 4:50pm, Gardaí stopped David Goggins (34), a man aged 34, on Ballinalee Road, Longford, after observing him acting in a suspicious manner. A search found him in possession of €200 worth of cocaine, which he had agreed to pick up for a friend, and he was charged with possession of cocaine. At a hearing in January 2024 he was given four weeks to make a €350 court poor box donation, and he did not attend. In March 2024 a conviction was registered and he was fined €350 with three months to pay.
