    A disturbance at a property on Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, on 30 August 2024 saw several people taken to Mater Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Seven men from Dublin — Conor Hughes (49), Rhys Kane (32), Darren Fox (37), Keith Hogan (43), Darren Weldon (55), Conor Mills (45) and Dean Shannon (40) — were arrested and charged with violent disorder in early October 2026 following an investigation by the Garda Special Detective Unit. They appeared before Dublin District Court on 20 October 2026, where the DPP directed trial on indictment and the men were remanded on bail to appear on 27 November for service of the book of evidence.
