On 12 November 2023, four suitcases containing €215,900 of cannabis and €138,568 of cocaine were placed in the boot of Daniel O'Neill's car in Cabra, Dublin, before two cases were transferred to a waiting car at Pinewood Park, Tallaght. Daniel O'Neill, 40, his cousin Oisín O'Neill, 42, and the driver of the second car, James Glynn, 33, were all arrested after gardaí stopped the vehicles under surveillance. Daniel O'Neill pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for sale or supply at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court and was given a three-and-a-half-year sentence, suspended in full, in February 2025. Oisín O'Neill received a three-year prison sentence with the final six months suspended, and James Glynn received a suspended four-and-a-half-year sentence in November 2024.
