  19-year-old twin brothers Sam Kerins and Daniel Kerins of Kinlough were arrested after becoming verbally and physically abusive towards gardaí on Main Street, Bundoran, at about 2.30am on 20 April 2025, after Danny Kerins was trying to start a fight outside Apache Pizza and Sam Kerins intervened. The men were charged with obstructing Garda Laura Dillon, threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour, and intoxication in a public place, and first appeared at Ballyshannon District Court in May 2025 before the case was adjourned. On 7 November 2025, the twins pleaded guilty to the obstruction and public order charges and were left without a conviction, conditional on each donating €400 to the garda charity by 6 February, with a conviction and €500 fine to follow if the donations are not made.
