    Daniel Greene (29), of Dernacart, Geashill, was convicted of dangerous driving over an incident on December 20, 2020, at Clashagad, Dunkerrin, in south Offaly, involving a horse-drawn sulky. He was convicted at an earlier sitting of Tullamore District Court and returned there for sentencing. In September 2023, Judge Andrew Cody imposed a six-month prison term and a €2,000 fine payable within 12 months, and required €2,000 in cash to lodge any appeal.
