Damien O'Gorman, a 37-year-old man, is accused of 16 counts of theft and three of attempted theft from retail premises in Kilmallock, Bruff and Charleville, Co Limerick, between 9 September 2025 and 12 May 2026. He was arrested without incident at his home on a Monday and brought before Kilmallock Court on a Tuesday, where Judge Patricia Harney refused bail. Gardaí said a file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions and requested an adjournment. The latest development is that he is due to appear again the following week by video link from Limerick Prison.
