Damian Szatowski, a 37-year-old man from Suncroft, County Kildare, was charged with a drug offence and a road traffic offence. He was allegedly found with an estimated €890 of suspected cannabis for sale or supply at Suncroft on 19 November 2022, and allegedly drove without a licence or insurance on Eyre Street, Newbridge, on 29 January 2023. He appeared before Naas District Court on 7 March 2024, where his solicitor said he pleaded guilty to the Section 15 drug allegation. The judge accepted jurisdiction over both cases, made a disclosure order, and adjourned them to 18 July 2024 for hearing on all matters. Szatowski is currently remanded in custody.
