Conrad Neale, a 44-year-old man from Ramelton, Donegal, was found not guilty of possession of cannabis with intent to supply at Letterkenny Circuit Court in February 2022. Gardaí obtained a warrant on 16 October 2018 and found two grow tents with 29 cannabis plants, 80 grammes of dried cannabis, morphine, MDMA and €6,650 in cash at his home. He pleaded guilty to nine charges of possession of cannabis and morphine and a charge of cultivation of cannabis. The jury, after one hour and seven minutes of deliberation, acquitted him of the intent-to-supply charge.
