Clare O'Connor, a 35-year-old woman from Ashtown, Dublin 15, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to possession of heroin, cannabis, cannabis resin, MDMA tablets and other tablets with a total street value of €47,407 found at her home on 17 November 2019. The drugs were discovered in a sock in a water tank and in a schoolbag in a locked shed on the balcony. O'Connor said she had agreed to store the drugs for a day at the request of her partner, a violent offender jailed for 11 years in 2018 for conspiracy to commit murder, and that she felt she had no option but to make her home available. On 21 June 2022, Judge Martin Nolan suspended a four-year term of imprisonment.
