  On 14 February 2021, a young man was walking at Villas Two, Muirhevnamor, Dundalk when three youths on bikes approached him, and Cillian Myles, a 20-year-old man, jumped off his bike and punched the victim. Myles also threatened to burn the victim's family home, telling him he had to pay €200 by Friday. Myles was arrested a week later and admitted hitting the complainant. He was convicted in his absence at Dundalk District Court in late January 2022, and on 15 February 2022, Judge Eirinn McKiernan sentenced him to four months for the threat to cause criminal damage.
