  • Former couple acquitted of proceeds of crime charges in Limerick Possession of proceeds of crime · Co. Limerick

    Gardaí found €32,960 in cash, including €30,000 wrapped in a sock in a bedroom drawer and €3,000 in a wallet, at the Limerick home of Ciara Bradshaw, 43, on 15 April 2019. Raymond Collopy, 55, was arrested on 16 May 2019 and both were charged with possessing the cash as proceeds of crime. The former couple entered not guilty pleas before Judge Colin Daly at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court in December 2024. A jury of seven women and five men acquitted both accused on all charges.
