    Catherine Ryan, of Westport, Co Mayo, was allegedly found with about €3,000 of cannabis herb at Kilmore Lower, Co Longford, on 25 November 2020. In October 2023 she pleaded guilty at Longford District Court to possession of the drug for sale or supply. Defence solicitor John Quinn said a probation report would show how she has moved on since the incident, and the case was adjourned for two months. Ryan was remanded on bail to a sitting on 16 January 2024, and no sentence has been reported.
