• Mother jailed for Brown Thomas jacket theft in Dublin Theft · Co. Dublin

Six Moncler designer jackets worth €12,615 were stolen from Brown Thomas department store in Dublin on 14 December 2024 by a group of five, including women Cathriona Joyce, 39, and her daughter Caitlin Joyce, 21, of St Brigid's Lawn, Porterstown. Gardaí identified the group on CCTV and recovered three jackets from searches of the women's caravans, with the remaining three handed over by Cathriona Joyce four days later. Both women pleaded guilty to theft at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
