  A female pedestrian in her early 40s was struck by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene on the N15 at Moneygold, approximately 2km outside Grange on the Donegal side, Co Sligo, just after 10pm on Tuesday 15 February 2022. The victim was later identified as Bridget Anne Flood. Gardaí and emergency services attended at approximately 10.15pm, the scene was preserved for forensic examination, and the local coroner was notified for a post-mortem. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage from the Grange area. A funeral was held for the victim at St Joseph's Parish Church in Baltinglass, Co Wicklow on 21 February 2022.
