  On 21 October 2021, Robert McCarthy, 39, allegedly made threats to kill or cause serious harm at his home in Limerick City, one directed at members of An Garda Síochána and one at civilian Tanshe Rondozai, and obstructed Garda Brian Delaney at Omega Gym, Henry Street. McCarthy pleaded not guilty to the two threat counts and the obstruction charge but admitted causing criminal damage at the gym. A jury was sworn in at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court on 13 May 2024, and Judge Tom O'Donnell adjourned the case to begin the trial the following morning. McCarthy was remanded on continuing bail for trial.

  Gardaí searched a property at Sean Doire, Durrow, Co Laois, on 9 February 2023 and found cocaine, cannabis and deal bags with a combined value of €3,185. Brian Delaney, 29, of Morette, Emo, later admitted at Portlaoise District Court to having cannabis and cocaine for sale or supply, and he admitted holding the drugs for another person. No victim is named in the sources. The court imposed a three-month sentence suspended for two years and fixed recognisance in case of appeal, as reported in December 2023.
