    On January 22, 2022, Brendan Thorpe, of The Still, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, walked up to Sabrina Moloney on the dancefloor at Brogan's Bar, Kilkenny City, and bit her on the shoulder. Thorpe was arrested and charged with assault causing harm. He was convicted at Kilkenny District Court on November 16, 2022, after CCTV footage and witness testimony confirmed the bite. The judge adjourned sentencing to February to allow a probation report to be prepared.
