On 16 June 2018, John McGahon, 31, of Dundalk, was charged with assaulting Breen White, a man in his 50s, causing him harm outside The Rumhouse on Park Street, Dundalk, after a scuffle that began when McGahon put his arm around White's wife as they were leaving the pub.
