  Brandon Crosbie was involved in a violent disorder incident in 2018 in the recreation hall of Mountjoy Prison, where a fellow prisoner was attacked. On 22 May 2022 he failed to stop for gardaí and drove at speeds of up to 160km/h through Dublin city, and he was arrested when he left the vehicle. He entered custody on 10 October 2022 and pleaded guilty to one count of violent disorder and to seven charges over the car chase. On 8 February 2024 he was sentenced to six years for violent disorder and four years for endangerment, to run concurrently, with a five-year driving ban backdated to 10 October 2022.
