  Two bodies, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s, were discovered at a house on Old Connaught Avenue in north Bray at around 8am on 21 October 2026. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, with the man's body reportedly found outside and the woman's inside. The victims were identified as Jamie McGinn and Biddy O'Brien, the parents of two children killed in a 2017 Clondalkin fire. The bodies were removed to the City Morgue in Whitehall for post-mortem examinations by State Pathologist Dr Sally Anne Collis, which began on 22 October and remain ongoing. A senior investigating officer is leading the investigation from an incident room at Dún Laoghaire Garda Station.
