    Bashir Midoun, a man, entered the building he had previously lived in on April 24, 2025, after being released from a previous jail term, and left through a window after gardaí arrived. A witness had called gardaí to report a man entering through a window, and Mr Midoun was arrested for his own safety because of his level of intoxication. At Kilkenny District Court he pleaded guilty to trespass and to being intoxicated in public, with other charges taken into consideration, and was given a three-month prison sentence. The sentence was reported on 9 May 2025.
