    Aubejaitis Gintautas, a 66-year-old man of Ashbrook, Tom Bellew Avenue, Dundalk, struck and punched a nurse at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Louth after she fell to the ground, and the next day he became aggressive towards staff and smashed glass. Two porters held him down until gardaí arrived. He pleaded guilty at Dundalk Circuit Court to assault causing harm and criminal damage. On 12 March 2025 he was jailed for 12 months, with parts of the sentences suspended.
