    Malik Hussaine, 36, of Newtownforbes, Longford, was sentenced at Longford District Court for a collision in which his car hit another vehicle at Fyhora, Moyne, Longford. The charge states the incident occurred on January 31, 2022, while a witness placed it at about 4:10pm on January 30, 2022. Attracta Smith, the first witness, said she sustained a severe soft tissue injury. Judge Bernadette Owens reduced the original charge of dangerous driving to careless driving, recorded a conviction, and imposed a €850 fine payable within five months.
