  Arunas Ramonas, a 34-year-old man with no fixed abode in Dublin 1, was prosecuted for two breaches of the Public Order Act at Bridge Street, Kilcock, Co Kildare, on 21 February 2026. The court heard that he told gardaí to 'shut the f… up' and that a garda sergeant said he was stumbling on the footpath and highly intoxicated. His solicitor said he has a difficulty with alcohol, and the court heard he had 65 previous convictions, 37 of them under the Public Order Act. On 3 July 2026 at Naas District Court, Judge Desmond Zaidan imposed a seven-month and a two-month custody term, both backdated to 23 February.
