A 17-year-old girl, Aoibhe Martin Quinn, collapsed outside the 3Arena on North Wall Quay, Dublin, on 17 March 2024, while thousands of young people attended a techno performance by DJ BLK inside. She was pronounced dead at 12.18am on 18 March. A criminal investigation into the death is ongoing, and no arrest or charge is reported. At an inquest opened on 4 December 2024, the hearing heard she died from acute MDMA toxicity, and the coroner adjourned it to 28 May 2025 while a file may be sent to the DPP.
