Anthony Fowler, known locally as Josh, a 63-year-old man, was fatally stabbed with a single wound to the chest outside his home at Dunsink Green, Finglas, Dublin, at around 12:30am on 26 November 2024, after a group of men called to his door looking for a younger man they believed had stolen cannabis and cash. Ryan Brennan, a 30-year-old man, was charged with murder in October 2025, and Connor Brennan Moran, a 23-year-old man, was arrested in Belfast by the PSNI in November 2025, extradited to Ireland in January 2026, and charged with murder. Both men pleaded not guilty to murder, and the trial opened at the Central Criminal Court in October 2026.
