  Anthony (Douey) McCormack, a 26-year-old man from Derrynane, Old Cork Road, was pronounced dead at the scene after his motorcycle collided with a wall and metal fence at O'Malley Park, Southill, Limerick, at 1pm on Sunday 16 January 2022. His body was taken to University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem was to be carried out. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are conducting the investigation, which is continuing at the request of the local coroner. His funeral Mass was held at St John's Cathedral on Friday 21 January 2022, followed by burial at Mount St Oliver Cemetery.
