Anthony Dennigan, a 52-year-old man from Leney, Ballinalack, Westmeath, was charged with dangerous driving, criminal damage to cars belonging to Eddie Myers, Edward Purcell, Carol Fitzpatrick and Patrick Myers, and assault on Patrick Myers and Eddie Myers, allegedly linked to an ongoing feud. The incidents occurred on 29 July 2024 at the N4 Bunbrosna, Westmeath, and 8 August 2024 at Harbour Street, Mullingar. He appeared before Longford District Court by videolink on 24 September 2024, where a bail application was being made to the High Court and the DPP had not yet decided on directions. The judge remanded him in custody to Mullingar District Court the following day.
