Anthony Bradley, an Elvis impersonator, was headbutted by Irish footballer Anthony Stokes, 34, at Buck Whaleys nightclub in Dublin in 2013, suffering a broken nose, broken teeth and serious mental health effects. Stokes was given a two-year suspended sentence at Dublin Circuit Court in 2017, and Bradley was awarded €230,000 in compensation which he says was never paid. In 2022, Stokes failed to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court in Scotland and a warrant for his arrest was ordered by Sheriff Alasdair MacFadyen.
