    A brawl between three women broke out at Penneys, Longford Shopping Centre on 16 March 2022, allegedly linked to a feud between rival factions in Longford town. Cindy Duignan, 39, and her sister Teresa Dinnegan, 37, were charged with assaulting Annalise Power, 26, while Power was also charged with assaulting Dinnegan and producing a knife. The charges were struck out in December 2022 due to delays in obtaining DPP directions, but the State re-entered the case in September 2023 and all three women were sent forward for trial in October 2023. In February 2025, Duignan and Dinnegan pleaded guilty to Section 15 affray at Longford Circuit Court and were remanded on continuing bail.
