    In the early hours of 17 November 2020, Andrew Hillick (19) and Michael Matthews (19) broke the glass partition in a Free Now taxi on Belgard Road, Tallaght, and attacked the 31-year-old driver, punching him in the head and kicking him in the ribs. The two teenagers stole €60 in cash and a mobile phone, and the driver sustained a broken nose. Both men were arrested nearby shortly after the incident, with Matthews in possession of a broken bottle. At Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 28 January 2022, both pleaded guilty to assault causing harm and robbery and were remanded on continuing bail pending sentencing.
