    Jordan Walsh, 24, of no fixed abode, is accused of assaulting Andre Ziflai at Diamond car wash, Railway Road, Birr, on October 25, during which he allegedly produced an expandable metal wheel brace. He is also accused of stealing ear pods and a USB charger valued at €65 and causing €18.50 in damage at Tesco in Birr. A book of evidence was served on him at Tullamore District Court the previous week by Garda Stacey O'Brien. Walsh was sent for trial to Tullamore Circuit Court, where legal aid was granted, and is scheduled to appear on May 29, 2025.
