Alex Berry, a 52-year-old man from Tullamore, was charged with possessing drugs at Tullamore Garda Station on 11 February, and with thefts from shops in Edenderry and Tullamore on the same date (no year is given). The charges were reported from Tullamore District Court in an article published 3 October 2025. In court, the defence barrister said Berry would refund the stores and attend rehab, and the judge adjourned the case for a Probation Officer's report. The latest development is that the judge imposed a daily curfew from 8pm to 8am and ordered Berry to sign on daily at Tullamore Garda Station.
