Albert Tucker, 66, of Blackrock, Dublin, was found guilty by a jury in May 2022 of multiple counts of indecent assault on his sister-in-law Aileen Ryan Wright. The offences took place between 1976 and 1979 when the victim was aged 11 to 17, at multiple locations in Dublin including in Tucker's car. Tucker pleaded not guilty to all counts but was convicted by the jury. He was sentenced on 31 May 2022 to four years in prison with no basis to suspend any part of the sentence, plus two years post-release probation supervision.
