latest first- Appeal court upholds €302,000 award in Cork traffic accident case Personal injuries (traffic accident) · Co. Cork
Jo-Ann O'Sullivan, a 33-year-old woman, was a passenger in a car that was hit in the rear by a car driven by Agnieszka Brozda in Glanmire, Cork, on 27 August 2016. The accident exacerbated an earlier neck and skull injury sustained in November 2015 when she struck her head against an electricity box. The High Court awarded O'Sullivan €302,000 in 2020, with Brozda admitting liability and only the amount of damages in dispute. The Court of Appeal dismissed Brozda's appeal in July 2022, upholding the award.
